Situated on the Alsace Wine Route at the foot of the Vosges, Ribeauvillé is a charming medieval wine village crowned by the ruins of three historic castles. Rooted in the 8th century and shaped by the Lords of Ribeaupierre, the village developed around fortified walls, merchant houses, and vineyards from the 12th to 14th centuries.
